Windows NT Devices
To install or configure a tape backup device, double-click on the Tape Devices icon in the Control Panel.
For Windows NT to automatically detect a tape device, click "Detect." This briefly displays a detection progress indicator.
If Windows NT does not detect a tape devices, you will have to add one manually. To manually add a tape device, click on the "Drivers" tab. Then click on "Add".
If the tape drive is not listed, choose "Have Disk" to supply Windows NT with the driver disk or CDROM.
In most cases, Windows NT will detect the installed tape backup unit.
