Troubleshooting Zip Drives

Problem: After applying Service Pack 3 or higher, Iomega Zip drives appear as drive letter B: under My Computer.
Solution: To return the drive back to its correct drive letter, apply the “Hot fix”. The “Hot fix” may be downloaded from Microsoft’s web site at:
ftp://ftp.microsoft.com/bussys/winnt/winnt-public/fixes/usa/nt40/hotfixes-postSP3/zip-fix/
Newer versions of the Iomega Tools (shipping on CD) contain the “Hot fix”, and will install the update automatically.
