Moving Files

NOTICE: Do not move any files that are part of an installed program. Doing so may render the program unusable.

To move a file to a new location, follow these steps:

  1. Use Windows Explorer or My Computer to locate the file you want to move.
  2. Click the file to select it.
  3. Click the Edit menu
  4. Click Cut.
  5. Open the folder where you want to move the file.
  6. Click the Edit menu
  7. Click Paste.

The file will be moved from the old location to the new location.

Note: if moving a file from a floppy to the hard drive be sure to keep the floppy in the drive until the move is completed.
